What is KICK IT IN? |
KICK IT IN is a self-motivational personal leadership presentation. It's all about inspiring your members to motivate themselves so they can KICK IT IN and TAKE THE LEAD! The first part or possible version of this program (anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes in length) is a fast-paced, high energy, entertaining educational presentation that is informationally insightful and inspiringly humorous. This segment of the program can stand by itself as an opening keynote, retreat, conference orientation or KICK off type program. This segment focuses on:
- Paying attention and responding appropriately to life
- Positively reinforcing yourself & others
- The more you put into it, the more you get out of it
- What you put into it, is what you get out of it.
- If you're whining, griping & complaining, having a terrible time - maybe that's why!
- Positive attitude vs. negative attitude, you make the difference
- Getting involved and cooperatively contributing
- The discipline of focus and the power of attention
- Leading by example because you can't lead others until you lead yourself
The second part or possible version of the presentation (anywhere from 45 minutes to all day in length) becomes even more interactive and experientially based. These workshop-like sessions can have many activities (group, partner, and individual) customized for your program. Participants are involved with various activities, experiencing an enthusiastic atmosphere, while learning the importance of their individual participation. It's a chance for the individual person to become more aware of their potential, learn the concepts & tools needed to realize that potential (both as an individual & within a group), and to put the tools into use to create positive ACTION!

KICK IT IN with MOTIVATION! This presentation deals with inspiring self-motivation in ourselves as well as others. The goal is to understand the many foundational aspects of motivation in creating a sense of internal self-motivation rather than relying on external manipulation - knowing the only true form of motivation is self-motivation.
KICK IT IN with LEADERSHIP! Developing personal leadership in ourselves and others is the key to making things happen. Getting people to do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, whether they want to do it or not, without being asked - remembering that you can't lead others until you lead yourself. |

The first segment of this program works well at any point during the year and for any association event. Certainly there is always a great deal of interest in scheduling it as an opening convention keynote presentation. Perhaps a KICK-off program to get everyone moving in the same direction at workshops, retreats, new member orientations or association meetings.
The workshop-like sessions are super for a keynote follow up, breakout sessions, special meetings, interactive retreat programs and for in-house workshop series.
